Jet Boat Tours
Introduction
This one and a half
hour dolphin jet boat tour departs from the Manteo Waterfront and starts with a search
for dolphins, which we almost always find. Along the way we see osprey,
pelicans, cormorants, gulls, ducks, and other wildlife on the Outer Banks.
 We then visit
Wanchese, a working fishing harbor, where we see old wrecks, large and
small fishing boats, and much more. On this dolphin tour, we will also pass by various islands
and travel through the waterways of the sound.
Finally, we put the 24 passenger custom built twin-engine 700 horse power
"Yellow Bird" through its paces. We’ll do exciting slides, spins,
and splashes before returning to Manteo. This dolphin jet boat tour on the Outer Banks is fun for all ages.
“Yellow Bird” is a 34ft, 24 passenger coast guard inspected,
jet boat and is the only vessels of this type on the East Coast. Its captains
are Coast Guard Licensed.
