Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge / Sunset Kayak Tour

Hatteras Island Kayak Tour
Come with us and paddle from Hatteras Landing into the nearby creeks and waters of Pamlico Sound. Learn local Hatteras history, culture and ecology while keeping your eyes out for birds and other wildlife as you glide through the grasses and marshes between tranquil islands. In the shallows we will search for fish, crabs, and other aquatic life. Catch picturesque sunsets as they descend on the Pamlico Sound, when weather permits. Great for families, couples, and your average Joe, this tour is an ideal way to experience the nature and history of southern Hatteras Island.
Kayak Fishing Charters
Kayak fishing has become one of the most popular things to do in a kayak and we are fortunate to have some of the best waters around for doing it. Join our experienced guides as we search the sound for hungry trout, drum, flounder, striper, and any of the many other species of fish that inhabit our inshore waters. We will supply all the equipment needed, including fishing rod and tackle, and let you in on some of our favorite fishing holes. We use special kayaks rigged with several rod holders and other features designed to simplify the experience and make sure you don't let the big one get away.

Every time I have the opportunity to come to the Outer Banks I always book a kayak tour. It is an essential part of my visit. Due to really positive experiences kayaking with KHK I have considered buying my own kayak so that I can kayak around my local areas (Buffalo, NY).
