Play Hard at Kitty Hawk Kites Kiteboarding, Waves Village Resort!!

If "Work Hard, Play Hard" is your motto, then it's time to play! The wind is here to stay for a while. It's currently blowing SSW at 20 mph on average and not letting up in the foreseeable future. We are also experiencing record temperature highs for the season if your into that sort of thing. There's not a cloud in the sky, so meet us down here for a kite session, you won't regret it. If you're not into kite boarding, we have plenty of other water sports to choose from. See you out on the water.

Wednesday Demo Day

During the summertime, be sure to come by for Wednesday Demo Day at Waves Village Kiteboarding Resort! We'll have free kiteboarding gear rentals from 9-5, kid's day from 4-7, and movie night after the sun sets!

Our new restaurant is almost in place so be sure to check that out in the summer! Any suggestions on draft beer we should have on tap..?

Kitty Hawk Kites Kiteboarding Resort is opening its kiteboarding school for the 2010 season! We have had a great week of warm sunshine and the water temps are in the low 50's. The spring winds are blowing almost everyday with wind conditions good for kiteboarding 5 out of 7 days!

Great Wind, Great Resort!

Besides the chilly weather, it's an awesome day for a downwinder! Looks like a couple of guys from the shop are going out to kiteboard later--keep an eye out for us if you're in the area... One of the best parts about the Outer Banks (and Hatteras Island) is that there are more "kiteable" days here than almost anywhere. If you haven't seen pictures of our new resort go to www.wavesvillage.com for a tour of our luxury condos.
