Parasailing Introduction

Whether you are by yourself or with a friend or two, you can experience the thrill of floating above the sound while parasailing during your visit to the Outer Banks. The views of the ocean, sounds, islands, and marshes are fantastic from these heights - up to 1400 feet.

Parasailing flyers are secured in a seated harness and will sit side by side for doubles and triples. They are gently lifted from a platform on the boat to the desired height where they float above the sound. They are never released from the tow line and never have to get wet.

The parasailing flyers are then lowered, and - if they wish - they can be “baptized” or have a “toe dipping” before being brought back on to the deck of the boat.

We offer parasailing at our Kitty Hawk Kites Duck and Manteo locations. Flights can be single, double, or triple to heights from 400 to 1400 feet.
